“And last, however never ever least, Peter Morgan, for producing many multidimensional roles for all us actors to sink our teeth into and win awards for,” the actress, 52, said as she accepted the Exceptional Efficiency by a Female Star in a Drama Series award for her function in The Crown. “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
The Sex Education star won the award for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in season 4 of the Netflix hit, beating fellow nominees and costars Olivia Colman and Emma Corrin, in addition to Julia Garner and Laura Linney, who were nominated for their deal with Ozark.
